About us

This year marks the 15th Anniversary of the company which began in 1996, when three specialists, Alan Erasmus, Klaus Johannsen and Peter Zuur decided to take control of their own destiny. The three had been involved in development and design for many years, but had too often seen how products fail due to overzealous sales people, and management with limited vision. These three visionaries seem to understand that customers want solutions not just products or terminals! Each with a different area of expertise allows Figment to develop products rapidly, especially if the project relates to transaction processing or communications.
